Mountain Line is governed by a seven-member volunteer board of directors. Directors are appointed by the City of Missoula and Missoula County. All appointments shall be four years, or, in the event of a vacancy, the appointment shall be for the unexpired term. A staggered appointment schedule is in place to provide for the expiration of no more than two terms each year.
Applications for board of director positions are available in the City of Missoula Mayor’s office, 435 Ryman Street, and the Office of the Missoula County Commissioners, 200 West Broadway Street.

Board & Planning Committee Meetings:
All meetings are held in the Mountain Line Conference Room, 1221 Shakespeare Street. Board meetings are held at noon; Planning Committee meetings are held at 11 a.m. Meeting agendas are posted 48 hours before the scheduled meeting time. Past board meeting minutes are posted after being approved by the board, usually one month after the meeting time listed. We do not post draft minutes.
