Special Routes

In addition to our regular fixed routes, Mountain Line runs seasonal routes to cultural and civic events, including a summer market trolley and a weekend shuttle to Marshall Mountain.

The Marshall Mountain Shuttle

Weekend shuttles to Marshall Mountain will run through October 2026! *No service on June 20 and 21 or July 4.

Mountain Line has launched a pilot recreation shuttle service to help connect Missoulians to recreation opportunities in our own backyard at the publicly owned Marshall Mountain Park. Shuttles run hourly 8-4 from the Downtown Transfer Center to Marshall Mountain all season.

Saturday Market Trolley

Park and ride to the Missoula markets on the Market Trolley! During the summer, Mountain Line brings out its historic trolley, running it to and from the Saturday farmers’ markets and the Missoula People’s Market.

Saturdays, May through October

On summer Saturdays from May through October, Mountain Line provides zero-fare service between the Fairgrounds and the Missoula Farmers Market, Missoula People’s Market and Clark Fork River Market, all in downtown Missoula.

Holiday Closures

Mountain Line does not provide service on the following holidays:

Mountain Line will operate on a Sunday schedule during other federal holidays.
