MISSOULA, Mont.—Beginning July 6, Mountain Line will introduce the new Route 10, connecting Franklin to the Fort to downtown Missoula every half-hour, Monday through Saturday. This new route will provide direct access from the Downtown Transfer Center to housing and services along Wyoming Street, the Missoula Food Bank and Community Center, and residential neighborhoods near Franklin Elementary School and will marks the agency’s first higher frequency Saturday service.
Route 10 will run from 5:45 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays and from 9:30 a.m. to 9:45 p.m. on Saturdays.

Route 10 was developed during Mountain Line’s 2024 service planning process, which evaluated factors like existing ridership patterns, accessibility, and transit needs around the system to reallocate service in a cost-neutral update. In addition to the newly designed Route 10, the July service update will include increased frequency to the Northside on Route 3 and additional mid-day service to East Missoula on a new Route 4S (which will complement the existing Route 4 to Bonner).
