Special Routes
In addition to our regular fixed routes, Mountain Line runs seasonal routes to cultural and civic events. During the summer, Mountain Line operates our historic trolley to and from the Saturday farmers markets and the Missoula People’s Market.
Other special service is advertised on our social media pages throughout the year.
New for Fall 2025: the Marshall Mountain Line!
Direct service from the Downtown Transfer Center to Marshall Mountain will run Saturdays and Sundays September 13 – October 26, with hourly departures beginning at 10 a.m. (Last trip departs Marshall Mountain at 5:30 p.m.)

Saturdays, Memorial Day weekend through September
On summer Saturdays from Memorial Day weekend through September, Mountain Line provides zero-fare service to and from the Missoula Farmers Market, Missoula People’s Market and Clark Fork River Market, all in downtown Missoula.
