As part of system-wide service changes to begin July 2026, Route 8 service will be ending on July 3. Bus stops served by other routes will remain in service, and a new Route 10, with half-hour service between Franklin to the Fort and Downtown Monday through Saturday, will begin operating July 6.
For other service options for current Route 8 passengers, please consider these alternatives:
For service to the University of Montana: Route 1, Route 12
For service to the Hip Strip: Route 6
For service along Stephens: Route 7
For service to Southgate Mall: Routes 1, 2, 6, 7
For service to Community Medical Center: Routes 6 and 9
For service to the Franklin to the Fort neighborhood: Route 10, beginning service July 6.
